Through Christ’s work, believers are adopted into God’s family and can address Him as “Abba, Father,” or “our Father in heaven”. This connection allows for a deep, relational bond, rather than a distant, fearful one, with God providing love, care, and guidance as a perfect Father
Who are destiny Connectors / Helpers?
These are people that God places in the path of your life to assist you fulfill your God given destiny. These connectors can be your pastors, church leaders’ mentors, friends, or even strangers who are sent by God to offer guidance, support, or introduce individuals to opportunities that further their destiny. They often possess wisdom, influence, or access to resources that can significantly impact another person’s life.
Ladies and gentlemen, there are places, territories and even heights in the ministry, you cannot reach until you learn to honor your destiny connectors and helpers. It is therefore imperative to recognize and appreciate the presence of destiny connectors / helpers in our lives.
Their support and guidance not only accelerate our progress but also help us realize and fulfill our God given potential in meaningful ways.
Understanding God’s plan for our lives
Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.
1 Corinthians 2:9: “But, as it is written, ‘What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him'”.
1 Corinthians 2:10: “these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God”.
Essentially, these verses emphasize that God has blessings and revelations planned for those who love Him, and that these are not things that humans could ever discover on their own. Instead, they are revealed through the Holy Spirit, who has access to the deepest truths of God

Destiny connectors / helpers could occasionally be responsible for connecting us with resources, insights, and even professional networks. Their engagement frequently fosters significant development, creating new opportunities and guiding individuals toward their God given potentials.
In the Bible, destiny connectors are individuals who played a crucial role in helping others fulfill their God-given purpose.
Examples of Destiny Connectors / Helpers in the Bible
- Jethro and Moses:
Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, offered practical advice on delegating responsibilities, which helped Moses lead the Israelites more effectively.
Let us foe a moment look at who was Jethro
He was a priest of Midian, a region known for its association with Mount Horeb, also known as the mountain of God.
Relationship to Moses:
Jethro became Moses’s father-in-law after Moses married his daughter, Zipporah.
Meeting in the Wilderness:
Jethro visited Moses while the Israelites were camped near the mountain of God (Mt. Sinai) bringing Moses’s wife and sons.
Advice to Moses:
Jethro observed Moses judging the people and offered advice on delegating tasks to other capable men, which improved the efficiency of the judicial system.
Significance:
Jethro’s visit and counsel are recorded in Exodus 18 and are significant in understanding the development of the Israelite legal system and the relationship between Moses and his father-in-law
- Mordecai and Esther: (From the Book of Easter)
In the biblical Book of Esther, Mordecai is portrayed as Esther’s first cousin and adoptive father (Ester 2:7). Esther’s father and mother died, and Mordecai, who is described as her uncle, raised her as his own daughter. Therefore, while not a traditional uncle-niece relationship, they are close relatives who share a familial bond through Mordecai’s uncle-daughter relationship to Esther’s father.
Mordecai’s guidance and encouragement were instrumental in Esther’s decision to intervene on behalf of the Jewish people, saving them from Haman’s plot.
- Barnabas and Paul: (Acts of the Apostles)
Barnabas was crucial to Paul’s ministry in the early church. He vouched for Paul to the other apostles, who were initially wary due to Paul’s past as a persecutor of Christians. - The Chief Butler and Joseph:
In Genesis 40, Joseph interprets the dreams of Pharaoh’s chief butler and baker while they are all imprisoned together. The butler dreams of pressing grapes into the Pharaoh’s cup, and Joseph interprets this as a sign of his imminent restoration to his former position. However, despite Joseph’s accurate interpretation and request, the butler forgets about Joseph after being restored to his position
The chief butler remembered Joseph’s ability to interpret dreams and recommended him to Pharaoh, leading to Joseph’s release from prison and rise to power.
- The Maid and Naaman:
Naaman was a respected and powerful military leader in Syria, but he suffered from leprosy.
The Maid’s Testimony:
A young, unnamed Israelite girl, captured in war and now serving as a maidservant to Naaman’s wife, speaks up. She tells her mistress that a prophet in Israel, specifically Elisha, could heal Naaman of his leprosy.
Naaman’s Journey:
Naaman, encouraged by the maid’s words, seeks permission from the Syrian king to travel to Israel to see the prophet. The king supports him, sending Naaman with a letter and gifts to the king of Israel.
The Healing:
Elisha instructs Naaman to wash seven times in the Jordan River. Initially resistant due to his pride, Naaman eventually obeys and is healed of his leprosy.
Conversion and Recognition:
Naaman, healed and humbled, recognizes the power of the God of Israel and declares, “Behold, I know that there is no God in all the earth but in Israel”. He also acknowledges the prophet’s integrity by refusing to accept the gifts he had brought.
The Maid’s Significance:
The little maidservant’s simple statement, driven by her faith and knowledge of God, is the catalyst for this significant event. She is highlighted as a powerful example of how God can use even the most seemingly insignificant individuals to bring about His will and work miracles

- They offer Support and Encouragement in the times of challenges: They offer emotional and practical support, helping individuals persevere through challenges.
- They are full of Wisdom and Counsel: They offer guidance and advice that helps others make wise decisions.
- Humility and Faithfulness: They are often humble and faithful individuals who are willing to serve others.
How to Identify Your Destiny Connectors / Helpers
