Affiliation: Many Asks, “What denomination is IBLC affiliated with”?

The International Believers Leadership Connection (IBLC) is strictly a “Bible Based Ministry” and NOT affiliated with specific denominations but instead partners with a broad coalition of Churches and Christian leaders from various backgrounds and denominations. Its focus is on providing Biblical leadership training to those in the “five-fold ministry,” which includes apostles, pastors, evangelists, teachers, and prophets. This approach allows it to reach out to leaders internationally, rather than being limited to a single denominational group.

Partnership: Broad based – partnership connections

First we need to acknowledge and understand that a sincere Kingdom partner commits to pray for and support the entire work of God (His Kingdom) here on the earth. That we should not single out ministries based on their denomination. That God requires for us as believers to support each other.

Partnership is like a bridge. It’s the great connector that joins those who fund the work of the ministry with the work itself, and it is upheld by the two pillars namely;

  1. Financial Support
  2. Prayer Support

1. Financial Support

First, we cannot talk about financial support without considering the integrity of the ministry in which one is affiliated with or leading. Does it have good Core Values?

A Partner commits to funding the work of the ministry with gifts, financial aid or contributions, tithes and offerings.

The Scriptures IBLC organization stands on for our partners – The virtue of giving & God’s provision
  • Philippians 4:17: ”Not that I seek your gift, but I do seek and am eager for the fruit which increases to your credit, the harvest of blessing that is accumulating to your account.”
  • Philippians 4:19: “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”
  • 2 Corinthians 9:8:  “And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others
  • Proverbs 22:9:  “The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.”
  • Proverbs 28:27:  “Whoever gives to the poor will not want, but he who hides his eyes will get many a curse.”
  • Luke 6:38: “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be poured into your lap.”

2. Prayer Support:

How should a prayer partner pray?

1) For leaders

Ask for wisdom, discernment, and humility for church leaders.
Pray they would be guided by God’s Word, have unwavering faith, and be free from selfish motives.
Request that they would be able to preach with boldness and authenticity, rooted in God’s grace.

2) For the church

Pray for unity in the global church’s mission to spread the gospel.
Ask for increased urgency and boldness in believers to share their faith.
Request that God would give the church a compassionate heart for those who are suffering, in physical or financial need, or fatherless.
Pray that the church would grow in its ability to remember God’s work and find strength in His joy.

3) For missionaries and evangelism

Pray for strength and perseverance for missionaries, especially when their work seems difficult.
Ask for opportunities to plant seeds and see the fruit of their labor.
Pray for an abundant harvest as more people learn about Christ.
Ask that the gospel would spread to every nation and person.

4) For personal ministry

Pray that all your actions would be motivated by love and that your purpose would remain pure.
Ask for God’s grace to help you serve with humility, wisdom, and integrity.

Pray that you would be prudent in how you use your time and ministry resources.
Remember that the ministry belongs to God, and ask that His will be done through you
Training: Criteria for training through IBLC and Certification?

To receive support, training or a certificate from IBLC, leaders must:

(1) demonstrate a commitment to Christian faith and character,

(2) be involved in a recognized ministry role and

(3) at least participate in a 2 year continued education program set by IBLC leadership team.

Training: Other criteria required by IBLC leadership team includes:

1. Committed to Ministry:

The training is aimed at individuals involved in the “five-fold ministry” (apostles, pastors, evangelists, teachers, and prophets) who are already serving in some capacity or aspiring to do so.

2. Demonstrated Faith and Character:

Leaders must exhibit strong Christian character, integrity, self-control, and a commitment to living a life that aligns with biblical values.

3. Proven Faithfulness:

IBLC seeks to partner with national leaders of “proven integrity, unblemished reputation, and demonstrated faithfulness”.

4. Experience:

Must at least complete a minimum of two years of training and demonstrate unwavering commitment to continue education with IBLC. The organization looks for individuals who can apply their knowledge in practical ministry situations.

5. Desire for Growth:

The training is for leaders who desire to develop their inner spiritual life alongside their outer competencies and grow in wisdom and discernment

6. Ability to Teach/Mentor Others:

One of our core goal of the training is to equip leaders who can, in turn, teach and raise up other leaders, creating a ripple effect of leadership development.

Please Note:

While IBLC is not a formal academic institution with a strict, universally published list of course prerequisites like a university, the focus is heavily on practical biblical training, character development, and a demonstrated calling to Christian service. Individuals usually need to be actively engaged in or seeking to be engaged in a leadership role within their local church or community to be a part of the IBLC network.
